Take down the ship and destroy the mast, then you can board it. Guns blazing like a Pirate or climb up and attack from above like an Assassin. Again, the choice is yours. Once the Captain is dead you then have a choice to make. Recruit willing members of the fallen ship to your crew; capture the ship and have it in your fleet; or Salvage it for parts if the battle has damaged the Jackdaw.
